The ascension as you stay on the path involves love for a nation and it’s people brainwashed to hate and persecute you. Love for women too damaged to love you back and appreciate what you have given and had to give. Making enemies in the tribe to preserve the tribe and brotherhood.
Sacrifices others understand less and less the more they cost and the more powerful they become.
The repeated succession of these experiences and continued devotion to principle driving you to continue the height of sacrifice of the self toward the things you love is simultaneously the most painful, glorious, and fulfilling thing for a man.
This is communion with the Gods. This is your lasting mark. Keep walking. Keep working. Keep loving.
Whether or not they carve you in stone, you will have done it yourself.
