Hail the Ancestors, Hail the Ancients
A setting at the head of the table,
A black shrouded chair,
A reminder that the Ancestors,
Will always be there,
The memories still vivid on Samhain dusk,
Of the ones who once walked this dimension with us,
Those long before them, we still must not fail,
They are welcome to join us at the thinning if the veil,
You taught me so much grandpa, today you’re in mind,
As I poured you a glass of this Early Times,
From the Desert to the Borax mines, and far off to Japan,
You never complained, and stayed an honorable man,
Cone sit at the table, and enjoy you a drink,
And feel comfort that your grandson listened more than you think,
And those the more ancient, from the tribes and the Clans,
We continue your fight in this new far off land,
Have a seat and a drink, and I smile if you nay,
For though time marches on, we are still you, today
